Hi, I have recently come across a very nice 354 Seamaster. The Dial has aged beautifully, and the movement is very clean (less bumper spring but easily replaceable by my watchmaker. However, looking at the case, I have some reservation. Something feels off, but I am not experience enough.

I believe the seller has put a fair price I am willing to pay for if all of the watch is Original.

Please put in your thoughts on this, I will try to put up some photos here.

Greatly appreciate all the inputs I can get here WhatsApp Image 2018-05-10 at 00.14.47.jpeg WhatsApp Image 2018-05-10 at 00.14.48.jpeg WhatsApp Image 2018-05-10 at 00.14.49.jpeg WhatsApp Image 2018-05-09 at 13.59.51.jpeg WhatsApp Image 2018-05-09 at 13.59.52 (1).jpeg WhatsApp Image 2018-05-09 at 13.59.52.jpeg WhatsApp Image 2018-05-08 at 18.16.02.jpeg WhatsApp Image 2018-05-08 at 18.16.40.jpeg WhatsApp Image 2018-05-10 at 00.06.08.jpeg

You have shown everything but the most important thing – the inside of the case back with the reference number, etc.

Looks like a nice honest watch to me. The only thing that seems a bit odd to me is the applied Omega symbol. I'd expect it to be in the old style but I could be wrong. I'd wear it, I think it's an attractive watch with the patina and the case is in decent shape. Cheers.

Are you sure you're ok with that dial? It just looks weird to me. But maybe it's better to the naked eye.

If you are referring to the natural aging patina, I am ok with that. However @Gordon Heavyfoot just mentioned the applied LOGO, now I think he has something I miss before.

Lovely specimen, uncommon dial - everything looks right. The case is very nice.

That serial number is around the transition from the old one, so more than likely correct.

Hi @ConElPueblo , great to hear from you again, your input has really help me learn a lot on Omega watches. Always enjoy your input, straight forward and truly honest opinion.

Really like the watch, and if there's no red flags and the fair price given to me, I am on the edge to get it.

...May I ask to just how fair the price is? :)
If you don't feel like telling, it's all good.

Yes, a really honest seller that I have purchased a couple of watches in the past...on mechanical side he knows his trade, however in originality and heritage, he is still lacking and I do not blame him as that's not his expertise. He is my main go to guy for vintage watches now.
