    I don’t know what exactly happened to it, and frankly I don’t care. I just know it’s not a factory original case. That really isn’t hard to see. Just give it a try. The watch I linked on HF is clearly untouched.

    But for me it’s fine if you want to believe otherwise and think this case is factory original. You come across as stubborn and wanting to make a point so I’m not going to go further into it. I studied the MKII cases for 3 years in order to be able to distinguish factory original, and unfortunately a only a very small percentage is in that category today.

    My honest opinion, I got a 1970 mark II and it looks similar to this.

    I think it looks great, it’s a 49 year old watch, if it’s a persons it would have grand children. I think the price is fair specially if the movement looks good, been luped, serviced or something.

    I would go for it.
