I'm going to be in on this one, just saying 馃槈

http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-VINTAG...976121391?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item2326e0ca2f

The dial is not perfect but not bad, the hands are probably the worst part but they're easy to deal with. The key on these is that damn tungsten shell which is unfixable when it chips, and shit one is looking in rather nice, clean, chip free (ok a couple of very tiny ones that I can see) condition...

And better yet its from Alex in Mexico, the guy who sold me my second SMPP and a very good, highly professional seller to boot.

I was complaining bitterly not that long ago that there was a drought of interesting watches but it looks like the season is starting to really pick up =D

Helps to know the seller is legit. Your second SMPP is really nice looking.

Would be great if we could have our own mini-rating system for ebay sellers... probably a can of worms.

Yea we'd end up with the bad sellers trying to game it and badmouthing the good guys, it'd be impossible to police. I literally paid Alex on like the Monday and had the watch by the Wednesday, from Mexico, it was just crazy.

I think I remember him selling a near mint 18ct Conquest Calendar 19ASD early last year. It went for almost $3K which I couldn't swing at the time after a few recent purchases.

Might have to ask him to see if he can locate another or even better an 18ct Conquest Power Reserve.

The man knows how to find them, that's for sure. Two SMPPs, an Anakin and check this out:

No worries. I appreciate the link. It could very well have been a must buy.

Besides, I'm actually considering the modern 37 mm JLC triple calendar pointer date version.

Should check his other items too, he's got a couple Longines and other things.

Also I think that because he's in Mexico, the bidding on his items often goes a bit lower than it would otherwise go in Europe or with a USA seller, as some people are sort of scared off by thinking its all conmen and cartels down there, there's sort of a risk premium built into the final values of auctions. I've sort of noticed that with a lot of South American ones.

Beautiful piece! I agree about Alex. I bought a Mark 4.5 from him recently - very happy.

This Ebay seller Alejandro gets my highest recommendation, very nice chap to deal with and quick delivery.

Here is my Skywalker, unfortunately doesn't get much wrist time, the name says it all.
