Couldn't agree more. Parking was just as hysterically expensive as the accomodation. It was the only time, too, that we had to use valet parking, on the whole trip.
We actually stayed in Ft Lauderdale by the Sea a few nights in the beginning of the trip, and I must say that I did like Ft Lauderdale best of the places we visited. NB, we saw only the southern part of Florida, Ft Lauderdale, Miami, Naples (with surrounding areas) and Key West

·Brilliant picture of the train in the snow, here in England if I there's a few leaves on the track the whole network shuts down for a week. Oh and the first whiff of snow and everyone abandons their cars at jaunty angles.
