A little help from the experts please

I would like help determining if this is an original dial. I know a little history on it. It was once offered by a seller in England with an on line shop called jackandpet. He sold it to a gentleman in the states. It has been serviced many times as can be seen on the case. That does not bother me but I would really like opinions on the watch and it’s originality.

Not to mention a tired movement, over-polished case and incorrect crown...

On redials, some seem to be done long ago. Was it common practice to redial watches when they came in for service?

Yes. And quality on these are all over the place.

No one, and I mean no one, ever had the tools to redial Omegas properly. That is why the Omega collector community looks down their nose at redials. There is the occasionally well-done redial, but even those are noticeable.

Most of the the time. 😉

Bare in mind this isn't even a well done redial.

Look at the font but specifically at the 'G'. It's terribly done and nothing would come from the Omega factory this way.

The minute markers are also inconsistent which is typical of a redial.
