OK watch nerds, guessing competition.
A mate sent me his buddie's watch collection for assessment.
I already know the answers but this will just to let of steam after some previous threads ended up in feline fury.

Which three watches are fake?
Which three watches are crap?
Which three watches are worth saving?

Just do your answers like:
Fake - 123
Crap - 456
Good - 789

But replace number with "your" guesses!

Go for it!

Edit: the answers are only my opinion regarding Crap and Good.

I'll post my answers before the first cat pic lands. I hope.

Seiko is always good actauly but this one just looks crap to me 馃榾 .

I suspect all rolexes are fake so that would be 7,8. Do people actually fake Rado? 2 is utter garbage. The sort of thing that sticks to blankets. 3 is the sort of thing I waste money on hoping to get a case that will fit one of my many Landeron plate sets. (that one does not even have visible pushers.)

All of these are pretty much a waste of time.

Bear in mind that this collection is from somebody totally inexperienced in watch collecting.
While most of us will think all of the watches may be rubbish, there are a few saving graces there.
Not everyone will agree, but that's why we're all individuals isn't it.

Crap: 1,6,3
Might swap 3 & 9 but I don鈥檛 know citizen (or a few of those shown) well enough to say.

OK, fun time is over.
Aside from the fakes, I gave the good to the little Seiko for its condition, the Citizen Elegance Perpetual Calendar becaise it looked nice and the Anker because it was the one watch of the lot I could possibly live with if restored, unfortunately the seconds hand post is broken off.
So the answers (IMO) are:
Fake - 7,8,9
Crap - 1,2,6
Good - 3,4,5

The fakes were rather awful. Movement shot from one of the "Rolexes". The caseback engraving was amusing though.
I'd say they were both $20 Bali Specials.

The "Rado" was equally as awful.
Even a cursory glance at the caseback should have alerted the buyer to the fact that the Swiss are more literate than whoever put this dog together.

All in all, an awful "collection". But now the owner knows the truth (or will when he gets them back, along with a one page analysis of his watches and a recommendation to seek advice before buying anything else.
