Omega is clearly a favorite brand in my collection.
I own 4 right now (3 Speedmasters and 1 Constellation C-shape) and I'm wearing my 145.022 as we speak.
But for a real high-end dress watch, I went for an A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Moonphase.

I was wondering who else on this forum has an A. Lange & Söhne?

Would be great if you're willing to share yours in this topic.
This should result in some great pictures I can imagine.

Here are some pictures of mine (disclaimer, I'm not a good photographer):

Lange definitely has an allure all its own. This is one of my acquisitions this year, and I just can’t wear it enough!

Fantastic piece! Much calmer to the eye than the (more iconic) Datograph.

Thanks! In fact, the journey to this watch spanned years and started with the Datograph. It is iconic, and really, my introduction to it was the kind of organic, "love at first sight" moment that is all too rare these days. Probably around 2014, I had heard a lot about Lange, but hadn't seen them. I found them one day, and looked at the datograph, not really knowing what it was. Seeing the movement for the first time... almost literally took my breath away. So from then on, I was hooked, and committed to getting one some day.

The problem was, over the years, I would try it on any chance I got. I tried all metals, and both generations. And each time, I got a little further away from it. Just didn't quite fit me. When I realized the 1815 chrono had the same movement (essentially), I was intrigued. Finally, when this edition was released, white goal/black dial, I knew I had to finally make it happen.

So there we go, this is my "non-dato-grail"! 😉

Same here. Trying on the platinum Datograph I quickly realized it was too heavy for me.
Luckily so, given it's price tag 😉.
Now there's some money left to hope for a quick arrival of the 321....

with Omega nato

Cool, I’ve never seen a Lange dress watch on a Nato strap before 👍

Langrè 1815 Chrono in rose gold.

Fantastic movement picture. The depth and finishing is stunning.

From memory I took that with 3x loupe attached to a Samsung 7 phone.

Would love an 1815 Up / Down but I abused my kidneys over the years and therefore can't sell one to fund it.

Another 1815 chrono, less loved than its siblings but for me, the one.

And I don't think you ever should 🤮
Agree, very often a NATO strap just isn't appropriate, and a Lange gold dress watch is one of them.

White Gold Richard Lange, nothing fancy just great design. Sometimes less is more, this is one of those times.

The watches I had purchased (steel) that had Nato straps left a definite imprint of the case back that's not easily removed even on steel watches. For that reason alone I would not use a Nato especially on a softer metal like gold.

Fantastic piece!

I had a hard time choosing between a used Darth Lange 1 and a new Saxonia Moonphase earlier this year.
