Wife has a Seiko quartz and Casio LCD, and that's all she wants.

Pretty good for a one watch only collection ! Seems like she's been well informed !

Looks like Mrs. Omegastar is a Dynamic-fanatic.... she certainly seems bit of a collector too doesn't she?

View attachment 288392 My spouse stashes her stuff in an assortment of places. So no watch drawer. But watches! Yes! Many of these are karat gold, bought in distressed condition, and intercepted before they got to the scrapper.mthe MARS is a watch my late father gave his mother in 1927. The Mars and Longines are white gold filled. The round Omega Sapphette with the blue tinted synthetic sapphire crystal is her favourite. She also has a Rolex Oyster Lady Date.

She likes Saphettes. There's also a quartz SM120 with a blue wave dial somewhere...

That Omega is magnificent with its textured dial and blue stone ridge !

Darn, what a fantastically good reason to collect ! "I have to buy, my wife wears them".

I'm sure a number of wives have to do the same with their hubbies watch vaults of course...

The blue "stone" ridge is actually refraction of the pastel blue sapphire crystal. The faceted edge is chamfered at a 45° angle to the surface of the crystal, leaving the impression that there are blue stones in the bezel. The only crystal of this type I have ever seen.

You guys... :whipped: Let's hope that her Ladyship won't find this thread, she has caught the bug and kept asking for more vintage watches now, and it needs to be triple C's!

This is her Polerouter, comes with the box, hell the crystal is even UG signed in the middle!
