A heresy: putting an Omega bracelet on a Submariner. I like it. Do you?

I think this actually works, at least sort of.

It’s a shame about these crummy buckles. But, I love how the bracelet complements the bezel. And, it’s as comfortable as an oyster bracelet. Of course, Rolex Sub pins are too thick to fit thru the Omega bracelet, so I’m having to use thinner, Omega 20mm pins.

I doubt it’ll last the day on the watch. There’s something faintly unholy in this pairing, even to me.

I'm fine with it, I put my Heuer Carrera on a s/h Oyster bracelet in 1974/5. Been like that ever since apart from a few months while MY replaced all the broken springs. The 6636 was already well used by the time I got it from someone at work. Confuses Customs Officers a lot though.

It’d look even better on an Admiralty Grey NATO strap.

I think it looks great, I used to wear a Breitling mesh strap on my Sub LV.

Sort of like when I put Mercedes wheels on my Audi.
    Sometimes things just work.
