Just to show eBay can still be a good place, I found a sale, last few minutes, no one bidding or watching. I know I’m trying to slim down my collection, but it was too good to resist - 3 Omegas, 2 Seamaster with all boxes, papers and receipt, and a Speedy Mk 2 with box and service papers.... all for £4K... here are the photos:

SM300
- as well as NATO strap it included a leather strap and the original Omega metal bracelet with spare links:




- 38mm Seamaster quartz - also included a plain black NATO and spare links



- Speedy MK 2 - with very nice lume and last serviced a few years ago


Selller was great - emailed me lots of photos including courier invoice and it was all really well packed .. I’ve saved him as a favourite just in case

 

Well done, that's a decent collection in one shot. Even really conservatively speaking I'd say you came out quite a bit ahead!

good bargain! I like the sm 300 and the speedy mk 2 - the sm quartz would go on resale if it was me

maybe selling one helps for your argumentation towards your wife!

Thanks - I’m actually keeping the SM300 - I bought it as I’ve almost given up looking for an honest, sensibly priced and affordable vintage one..will probably sell the other two once I’ve had them checked out, unless I keep the quartz as a beater..

 

Nice. I'll keep my eyes on the FS thread as the MKII is lovely as well.
