A found watch mystery from Reddit

So there is this post over on Reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/co...=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Where the OP states they are trying to assist with a missing persons case.

But the found watch is confounding me, and everyone else on the thread, as to what it is. I've copied the pictures below, but I cannot find any watch with a cushion case like this one that has a hexagonal dial.

Has anyone else ever seen a watch that matches this?

No one else wants to play eh? I'll admit I've spent far too much time already looking. @JwRosenthal does this look like any skindiver you are familiar with? The shape of the case is very similar to the Caravelle cushion case, but that hexagonal bezel/dial is seriously throwing me for a loop.

I thought it could be a Dietrich but they don’t have cases like that.

Very early 70’s, reminds of a few Technos styles (the mesh bracelet too) but don’t recall seeking one exactly like that.
