Looking through the collection and decided to take a group photo:

    1 is a no-arrow but original
4 are original TAs with one of them being RNZAF
6 are the Bienne replacement TA dials (equally hard to locate as the original TAs)

    And all lined up:

These seem to be enjoying some well-deserved renewed attention with collectors lately.

Fantastic grouping. You basically can outfit an entire squadron!
I don't see an FA dial?

And I that believed that the RAF 53 TA was rare.... Remember seeing one or two on auction the last 10 years.

Now you make me believe that it's thirteen on the dozen of them :D

As someone said above, it's just to much, circuits are burning

Mike, have I told you that I hate you recently? If not, I hate you.

    * for all those NOT from the Philly / NJ / NY area, "I hate you" is one of the highest compliments you can receive, above even "I'm jealous" and "NFW".

ps - when's the next local GTG? I have a diminished collection and need to get a vicarious dose of vintage watches.

+1 for the hate. I think I found a good spot for a Philly GTG.

Is that the one on South Street between the bridge and Broad Street? It's around 20th Street I think. I don't remember it looking that shitty on the outside.

    I only have this one:

@Bill Sohne told me about 7 years ago now over one of our breakfasts that the TA was the one to get and since then I've tried to get my hands on all the TAs I could find. Bill told me these watches especially the TA were massively undervalued - forerunner of the railmaster, military heritage, antimagnetic in a nice 37mm screwback case - and were hard to locate. The TAs are still very undervalued IMO and are still very hard to find.

    MSN,
A wonderfully impressive line up. I've recently handled my first TA (not mine) and am impressed by the feel and quality of it, but then again I would expect no less from Omega.
    Cheers,
    Buster

How many of your TA's did you acquire during the last 4 years, if I may ask?
