Triple date moonphase that is :D This one houses the early 27 DL PC movement. According to Omega it was manufactured in December 1946, movement only, and delivered to their agents in Uruguay in March 1948 as a complete watch. I asked John Diethelm about the dial not having "Swiss" or "Swiss Made". This is what he had to say...

"We did not have a strict rule about having or not "swiss" or "swiss made" printed at the bottom of the dials. It is also possible that during a maintenance service, such inscription has been either omitted or was not applied when new. We have both versions in our Museum for the identical watch reference... Basically, such markings were not officially required to be made visible at those days. They are now and we print the "swiss made" on every single dial."

John is such a GREAT guy! :)

About the thread title: This is the type of Cosmic I think about when I read "Cosmic." Is there another?

Not many out there. I've found one in Robert Goldberger's book:

    And a couple other:
    1) http://jackmond.com/products/omega-1947-rare-cosmic-watch-with-rare-farsi-dial (but not black)

    And Jack discusses it here

JK: One of Omega's biggest distributors in the Middle East was in Iran, so the brand had a huge, great presence there, with billboards all over the place. They had a real variety, and they were affordable. They even made special watches just for the Persian market - Omega Triple Calendars and Constellations, for example, with Farsi day and date. Now I have my own Triple Calendar with a Persian dial - all original, and extremely hard to find in such a large steel case.

    2) http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html?action=load&lotid=341&auctionid=261 (not black either)
