What sort of Movado is this? And what movement is inside?

    Also, is this Daytona legit?

When people ask for value, the usual answer is here is "whats it worth to you"? So I don't ask.

    That said..

The Movado, I wasn't able to get to match with a model, but I figure it's probably worth $2K (tell me if I'm wrong). I don't know enough if any parts are replaced or refurbished.

The Daytona, if its indeed a legit 6262 (I am a Rolex n00b which is why I am asking), is probably worth $15K-$20K (again, a more informed range will be appreciated)

That dial seems wrong for a 6262 to me. Looks like an earlier dial from a 6239... alas not a Rolex expert but doesn't seem to match other 6262... early dial on the rarest reference or????

The Movado shown is either a reference 19068 or a reference 95-704-568 (which is actually the same watch as the 19068; Movado changed their reference numbering system in the 1960s). The movement inside is a Movado 95M. This movement is modular with Movado making the base movement and Fredric Piguet making the chronograph works. It is a movement that is unique to Movado though one can sometimes find older Movados signed by other jeweler so such as Tiffany and Cartier. It is a really really nice movement.

Daytona is fake - litany of reasons why.
    - Dial printing is off / the actual configuration of the dial (small Daytona at the bottom) doesn't fit a 6262 (it's appropriate on a 6239)
    - Serial engraving is wrong
    - Bezel thickness looks odd (may be angle, but doubtful given the rest of the issues)
    - Movement finishing is poor and is missing engravings / has extra engravings (clearly not from a 6262 Daytona)

    Run. Fast.

OK great. I'll put some $$$ on the Movado, and pass on the other.

The 6262 was only made for one year...it is the least common Daytona. Im not even sure that serial number is correct for the reference...Overall this it is pretty bad. At the same time pretty scary.
I wonder if that case is also a fake. Mine is in #2,475,xxx...and I don't think they go beyond 2,600,000

This is what it should look like, although there are multiple dial variations.

the engraving on the bridge looks way off...this is what it should look like.
and it even has the elusive 6262 case back.

I looked thru my notes and non of the 6262 dials have Daytona at the top.

Ha, just noticed @ChicagoFrog said all this already...not sure how I overlooked his reply.
