    It appears that the slight alignment of my collection has created a little interest, thank you @CanberraOmega :whipped::)

    Well I am in a position to share a couple of the ingredients.
    #1 A one owner 145.022-71 complete. Thanks to @KRLYUZH
    I won't say you won't find one more complete but this is pretty good:D

    #2 And a new 359715 Apollo 11 limited to about 150. I know it is a new watch in the vintage section but it is 17 years old and never been worn:eek: Thanks to @Kringkily, just amazing and the pics don't do it justice. Don't know if you will see this in WRUW:unsure:

    I bet the last piece of the puzzle is one of those Japanese panda watches that there are only 40 of.

    The first one is another original purchase from an Army & Air Force Exchange Services - does the receipt show the name of the base or post? ... just curious.

    I love seeing the original price at $116. I wonder what that would have bought you in 1972.

    Oops. have just seen the $200 receipt as well, so I presume $116 was the band and $200 the watch??

    Hi alam,
    I was wondering about that, the top of the cash register receipt is too faded to read the name but I googled WOB exchange and after a short search came up with this:
    Woodbridge RAF Airport (WOB)
    Suttonheath, United Kingdom (GB)

    Think I
    will get a certificate from the archives.

    Cheers

    Amazing.

    ::love::

    You'll probably find it was sent to US Air Force. There was a large fighter squadron presence there during the cold war, so the watch was probably bought from the USAF Exchange during the closing era of USAF activities.
