A new vintage Constellation just arrived, and it makes me confused a bit.

It's a 18K, arrow-head, the dial has Omega printed, the caliber is 354, and the caseback has 2699 number on it. Everything seems in place, but, the caseback looks like this:

What bothers me is: why it has both 2652SC and 2699? So, is this a ref 2652 or is it 2699? Also, which are the series of the movement that will match with this case? I have seen some, starting with 11xx...

Thank you very much for your help.

The dual reference is fine, and quite normal. You have pics of the rest of the watch?

No problem with dual reference numbers on the inside of Omega casebacks, especially when they used 4 digit reference numbers.

I will take some photos sometime later. My caseback is exactly like the one I posted.

The Omega letters on the dial are printed, not applied. The logo is thin. The markers are arrow-head, and there is a cross. All seems original (the dial part).

I'll hold you to that. Just a sec while I put you on the list of members who owe pictures. :)

Correct for a 2699. The 2799 was otherwise identical except it has the applied logo.
