A collection theme?

    Hi,

    Might sound daft but I'm tempted to "theme" my future Omega collection with my birth year.

    Is it like wine, are certain years better than others?

    What would you guys say are good "finds" from 1971?

    I'm not a big fan of that to be honest, it excludes a lot of awesome watches unnecessarily and '71 wasn't the best year for Omegas, a lot of their best movements were out of production by then

    What's patience? :p I find the best method is "know what you like" Sounds obvious, but it becomes very difficult when you see other peoples influences creeping in.... This forum has rubbed off on me in this way....BUT I can only thank it for that, as I've found so many other types of watches that I like. Like 70's Seamaster Chronometres...IMO they are awesome.
