    That's the starting bid, not a Buy It Now. If that's the real deal (and I have no clue for sure but it looks okay) it'll go up quite a bit from there.

    Uh... serial number has been damaged and is not legible...

    Funny that... so we can't use the serial to date the case and see if its really from the DR serial range...

    No caseback pictures either...

    Would you buy something like this from a seller who has never sold a watch on eBay and nothing over $500, mostly $10 and $20 items?

    For all the changes eBay has made, not one has done anything to clean up the wild west / buyer beware atmosphere.

    I thank you all, for the opinions and advice given.

    It is always good to get expert and honest views, before hitting the button and it is hoped, others will follow what I am doing, so as not to get stung by some unscrupulous elements, trading on eBay.

    It will be some while, before buyers can be alerted of questionable products or unethical elements, waiting to make a quick bob. Till then, it is advisable to consult forums for opinions and advice.
