A Cartier Omega!

I just wanted to share this beauty, on auction the Cartier branding suprisingly didn't add any value, considering it's a 751/752 with an Omega bracelet, it was a good catch

But I believe it should add value as it should be very rare, as google'ing Cartier/Omega - specifying OF, didn't bring up any obvious results

I'm in "never again" mode for cosmic watches in general, not just Omega's (this just needed a new crown, but anything with crystal removal, I want to avoid)

It'd be nice to have such a unique watch in my collection tho, hopefully a non-cosmic one one day

Non gold Cartier?

that’s rare.

Humm.... Sus
I’m not saying that.

dial and printing seem legit to me. It’s just that Cartier was almost exclusively gold omega watches, Tiffany less so, and Meister not commonly.
The thing is each Cartier location seemed to operate independently in regards to selling other brands of watches.

Well they do with steel watches too. But what I know is that if it was co-branding like this they mostly use the italic fonts, for straight fonts they usually served for logo replacement like for instance the Marine Cartier made by Omega. Thus why I said this watch is a sus.
Just an example...

I am of the opinion that a watch need to have a certain measure of desirability to begin with in order for co-branding to have any added value - if the demand in the market isn't there to begin with, it will most likely not materialise because there is some further distinction.

I don't think that Cosmics like yours are bad or unwanted watches in any way, but only that had it been a Grand Luxe Constellation or possibly a Speedmaster, there would probably have been a premium.

It looks like it is in outstandig condition, I love the brushing on these and who can turn down a sparkle dial?!? I am sure the missing crown turned off some prospective bidders.

I see nothing suspect about it.

The prospective bidder that the missing crown turned off was me 😀

I also 100% agree with you, however, if I already had a MEISTER, a TURLER in my collection, I'd want a CARTIER to go with it to be honest - the font that matches the font of these 2 brands was also a plus for me

So even though I passed on this auction, next auction, I guess I'll bump up the price 😀 (Just got my first Meister!)

The one with the black dial is clearly a redial.
