    Ok so I thought the example at auction had a crater box with it, but I must have seen the picture of this one for private sale and made a mistake. So a nice but not super nice example brought in 68k and the nice example with crater box and papers and low number brought in something near 140k. That’s pretty wild.

    Yep, it was showcased as a private sale at Phillips.

    It was already sold on saturday afternoon, 140k is also what I heard when I arrived. Was by far the most attractive Speedmaster offered at Phillips that day imo.

    Nice! Wonder if they ever did the 1450/808 in 18k gold just like they did there with the 1479/812 bracelet
