A friend of mine was offered a 2699 de Luxe powered by a 352 instead of a 354. He asked me if it's correct or not. What do you think? Have you ever seen one like that before? Best . ps All the 2699 I've seen are powered by 354's.
Yes, I have seen 2699s with the cal. 352 and I believe it is a correct pairing - seen 2 in the past 4 years with this combination. Also thought why swap a more expensive and desirable movement (352) for a less expensive and less desirable one (354)?
