I have this SHOM for sale. What can I say about it.. It's all original. It'as not a watchco with an aluminium bezel. The Shom is the one of the onmy Omegas not to have an extra 0 on service case. So the reference 168.0177 is legit for both models but this one is a for sure a 1979.
Pros and cons
Pros : rather rare with its acrylic bezel insert, dial in good conditon, minty movement working just perfectly. Unpolished case. The bracelet has all its links and is in a rather good condition though a little loose.
cons : some f.. put some kind of paint on the hour hand. Just ugly. there is a a bump on the bezel insert at 9 that is not too ugly. There are some kind of cricles around the markers but not obvious at all. the 7 marker is a little clearer than the others but I'm quite sure it has not been re done.
I'm insisting to much on the cons just for you not to have some bad surprises.
