I posted some time regarding a step dial for an 861 Speedmaster
Well I found one "hopefully" and in good condition
I have my copy of MWO for reference but would welcome comments as to the authenticity
    Thanks

That looks great. I'd love to find one like it...

I've been trying to source a '70 step dial. Given your success, can you recommend likely sources/websites that I could monitor? I've been regularly checking OF, eBay, Chronos24, etc. with no luck.
I was hoping there was a secret list ;-)...

I think it was mostly luck to be honest. I was willing to go up to £1000 though or perhaps offer up some parts for trade. Good luck

Looks very nice I must say. I really admire/respect your commitment to getting this aspect of a watch exactly how you want it to be. And you've 'quietly' put your money where your mouth is! To some no doubt the step dial does not look that different - but just because it's a subtle variation does not make it any the less important to the discerning eye. To me the step dial and applied logo are key superseded features that contribute much to the attractiveness and mystique of the Speedy aesthetic.
