Well, you did make a rather positive statement. Maybe Tony was using a bit of humour (thus the italics).
This sentence implies that only Tritium turns dark yellow/tan. That is clearly not true. However, nice watches. I & many others here share your love of the patina.
Michael (above) is correct. I was responding, perhaps a bit too sharply, to your clear implication that such colors were exclusively related to Tritium.
the post was and is about the yellow on tritium lume alone ... even to the extent as to why i posted and said what i did in the initial response i gave TONY C. " i was talking about TRITIUM lume ... and yes I am aware that radium does discolor ... but the post is about TRITIUM and the MUSTARD YELLOW it turns into " ... apparently is not sufficient or is not clear enough ... in this light I have deleted the initial post as the thread has turned into a NEGATIVE instead of the JOY we all share that concern wrist watches ... my apologies to everyone for wasting ur time
Nice MUSTARD SOCKS !!! .... bit of advice if I may ? ... on the LOW LOW of course .... a shave perhaps ?
Apparently I arrived too late to see the photos, or even understand the topic of the thread, except that it has something to do with tritium.
If you want to see the photos and the same claims, just look here... https://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/w...tart-fade-become-yellow-brownish-4569719.html
