6E563444-8E02-447B-A93A-3ADC32B1D9CB.jpeg I have a 7970-4 diver circa 1970s which has the wonderful 431 Ultrachron movement. It’s one of my fave watches BUT it has the wrong handset. Had it ever since I bought it a couple of years ago. It’s now starting to bug me so does anyone know if you can get the correct hand set with orange minute hand from Longines themselves or an AD/repairer or go into the secondary market. Theres someone claiming to sell a set on EBay but they are wrong with pointer Ends rather than squared.
Basically weighing up if I send it back to Longines for service if they will replace hands.

Just curious if you have asked Longines whether they have the parts you need.

I did contact them. They sent a box with slip to send to them for assessment. Rather than do that, I thought I’d ask here first if anyone had done it with this particular model. I’m guessing any work by Longines will be big bucks. Way more than the watch is worth.

Too bad, I was hoping that could just tell you whether they had the parts.
