I know those start to be hard to find but come on there is at least one a month on Ebay... 7 950 USD for no papers, missing bracelet, damaged bezel that you can't find anymore? And on top of that I don't even think that the Box is the good one.
Good that he is MAYBE giving away a jacket with it I need the adress of his drug dealer.

Evidently a crazy price! However I don't agree with you that one a month turns up for sale. We have seen a few come out of the woodwork recently but they are generally very scarce, I have observed complete years without seeing one for sale on ebay. Imvho very few were sold new as the case shape was kind of old fashioned at that point, most people opted for the newer style square case that was sold at the same time, certainly many more square cased versions turn up for sale.

Well I bought 3 in the last 3 months and one of the Alaska IV prototype, I can't tell for before because I only started to be interested in those in the last months... Needs some researches but you can find them, and I've seen at least 3 or 4 that I didn't buy ! And the last one I bought was in excellent condition with the bracelet, box and booklet for 2.5k€

 

Yup, like I said quite a few for sale recently. I’ve been collecting these for probably 12 years or so and always took an interest if one was for sale. Some years there were none for sale, most others only one or two. My first one cost £250.
