7912? Flatlink Bracelet with no Reference Number

Hello-

I just picked up a flatlink bracelet with spring links that I think is a 7912, but it doesn't have any reference number stamp on the clasp. The date is 2/61. I searched and couldn't find any old threads on point, and the flatlink bracelet reference table I found doesn't mention bracelets sans markings. The spring links are also different than the later 7912 I have - the spring links on the later bracelet come apart like a 1035/1039 by sliding off the steel cover on the inside of each link and disassembling the link. The early bracelet in question doesn't seem to be as simple to adjust, it looks like you would have to pry open the link similar to adjusting the double spring link 7077's. It came with a beautiful pair of 6 end links, which I assume means it was originally attached to a Speedy, Seamaster or something else 19mm??

Has anyone seen a similar bracelet? Thanks 馃憤

It is a so called "transitional" or you can also call it an early 7912 - the bracelet is correct for the time

Thank you! I was thinking about it last night and now recall that I used to have an 18K flatlink 7077 that didn't have a reference number stamp. It had double spring links, a date stamp and was clearly a 7077, just no reference number.

The steel links show up on ebay from time to time, they do not come cheap. I have never seen 18k links for sale

This bracelet is so awesome, I would wear it with a steel 2998.
