Hi,

I´ve been lucky to purchase a watch that had a 7912 with #6 ends on it. I love the bracelet, but it is a bit over my price range and Im thinking of letting it rest and us a US flat link instead.

Im curious about the prices on this comob, searching the Sales section I got some idea of what they list for, but what do they sell for? A lot of BINs on ebay but those prices are crazy, and again unsold...

Here are some pictures of the bracelet, and one with the watch which I think is awesome on this bracelet!

I'm pretty sure a 120 has 18mm ends, so your 6's will have been trimmed. Unfortunately this will have a serious negative effect on their value ( circa -85%) as they are normally 19mm and sought after due to the expensive straight lug references they fit.

This is going to be fun - watch your inbox fill with offers....

eBay seems to get the right price on open auctions, and while times are different now we have seen combinations like this sell for $5,000+

I don’t know if that is still true today.

also you do need to double cheap the end links are still 19mm (I don’t know what the lugs are on this watch) and the value will also depend on the actual quality of the bracelet.

the absolute most I have seen were two end links and a 7912 were sold separately for a total of around 9,000 on eBay. But that was a while ago, and most people acquire thier 7912’s like you have - inexpensively and slightly by accident.

Im pretty sure it is 19mm, I use my 19mm tropic strap without any problem and measuring with a vernier caliper (is that the correct translation?) I get 19mm as well.

Well Im not sure I can let it go. Always wanted a flat link but couldnt afford one. No I got lucky, and I feel like a bracelet like this will be hard to come by again.

5k sounds CRAZY, if it is true then this bracelet could be a couple of very nice watches instead.. If I ever get around to selling it, I guess Ebay will be my market place 😀

Thank you all for your replies, I love this forum!

5K sounds not realistic to me. Just checked here in the sales section:

https://omegaforums.net/threads/two...speedmaster-seamaster-300-railmasters.120436/

7912 for 1600$. That is closer to the value I know.

or this one for 1.750$
https://omegaforums.net/threads/fur...r-early-speedmaster-seamaster-300-etc.106670/

if the Nr. 6 endlinks are legit, you can double the price to around 3.200$.

Yeah those ads are the ones I´ve been checking. But a lot of the times the price listed is not always what things sell for. But Im guessing this is as close as I get here. I will see if I can find some recent ebay auctions 😀

Thank you!

From my minimal first-hand experience you will be lucky to get $2500 if those #6's are not filed down to fit an 18mm case.

They are not filed down, the lug width is 19mm on this watch. But then I guess aprox value comes down to 2500-3000 US, good to know 😀
