Question around the case back markings on Speedmasters. My eyes are having a hard time telling if these are -76 or -78 markings. These images come from two separate sales where the serial numbers are 399xxxx indicating -76. But the sales are listed as -78. Any clarification would be great. Thanks!
Better pics would be needed to tell for sure, ask the seller for sharp, hi-res, closeups of the casebacks. But to me, on these pictures, those "8"s could be 6's.
