    Hi,

I inherited a rarely worn, mint condition Omega Constellation ref 168.016
It has the original steel bracelet and I serviced it in 2009. I've maybe worn it 5 times.

Could anyone tell me what they are worth?

    Thanks,

    B

Put it on eBay with a $1 reserve.
I'm sure you'll find out how much it's worth.

    Nice late Connie
The day date versions tend to be less desirable -, too much going on
The 700 series cal is a good movement but again less desirable than the 500 series
You can also try a recent completed sales search on ebay

I'm looking to sell this watch fairly soon, seen some going for 750 British Pounds/$1000

You have a nice watch but £750 might be a tad ambitious for your 751 day date
As I mentioned previously you can still get a really nice 564 168.910 for £700 on the UK Bay
But if someone really wants that style...
Best of luck though - hope you get a sale

Depends on how you look at it. I tend to appreciate Desmond's take on this:

"The Omega calibre 751 is a sibling of the earlier mid-500 series calibres, regarded as some of the best production movements ever produced." And "While one can only speculate why the five calibre 751 Constellations haven’t enjoyed the popularity of their calibre 551, 561 and 564 siblings, it begets a real opportunity for collectors to acquire one of the last of the great in-house movements produced by Omega."

    (for whole article: http://omega-constellation-collectors.blogspot.co.ke/2010/06/omega-constellation-calibre-751.html)

It is btw not a purely coincidence that my 168.029 with cal 751 will arrive this Thursday, so I might be just a bit biased...:coffee:

    The watch looks really sharp!

To me it is not the most desirable Constellation, but I think $1000 is not crazy for such a good specimen with the bracelet present.

Hi Morgan, welcome! If you want your post to be noted, start a new thread with an appealing header. In that way, your question will notbe 'lost' in another one's thread.
BTW if you do: post high res pics of front and back 9also inside) and tell us what you have found out already on this watch.
    Enjoy!
