Crystal and dial: Dial has faded from it's original blue, which there are traces of at the top of the dial. Sweep, minutes and hour counter hands show signs of age and paint loss. Crystal appears to have some marks.

Movement: Valjoux 7736 was serviced this month. No movement pictures, however these can be provided on request. Chrono starts, stops and resets properly.

    Hi all,

The watch is back from a visit to the watchmaker's. The chronograph hands had to be repainted as some of the paint was flaking off. The colour is very close to the original and has made the watch nice in terms of contrasts.

They also worked on the hour chrono creep that was present. I was told that while the corresponding part was tightened, the only real way to fix it was to get a new mainplate, which has not been undertaken. The chronograph still starts, stops and resets to 12.

The watchmaker is also of the impression that at least one of the minute and/or hour counter hands is not original to the watch.

In light of these issues, I have reduced the price of the watch to $1000USD including shipping from Australia.

New photos attached below, please PM me if you are interested or have any other questions!
