Have compared this 5513 to other specimens on the internet. Look reasonably good. Can the experts and knowledgeable OF members give opinions.
    Thanks much ahead of time

Today, very high definition photos are necessary for a proper assessment.

These aren't bad but I would ask for better photos.

At first glance, looks like a legit 'Bart Simpson' gilt 5513. Dial and dingy markers are in fair condition. Insert seems to be a later fat font replacement. Case on the polished side. Movement pictures a huge must. Pricing is critical.

I agree with @Faz 's assessment 100%. The only thing I would add is the possibility that the hands have been re-lumed. Just a sense I get from the color and texture (compared to the dial). Not a deal-breaker, just something to consider.

I find the dial appealing, and I would probably be tempted to swap in a faded insert.

Hands are later, everything else as stated above.

And apparently a replacement pearl, and the dial seems to have some damage. I would ask for hi DEF pictures with the Crystal removed.

Nice overall patina. All down to price for me.

Entirely agree… Hands are historic, service replacements…and the Bezel, is more than suspect

I have to say…I really do not like this Dial…based on the current images

    As ever…crucially…what’s the provenance ?

Only if this was ‘cheap’ relatively ? …would I consider it

There’s much better examples, out there, still in ‘Private Hands’ to harvest…that 60’s generation is now liquidating assets, as mortality looms

A typical bad example of a 5513 Gilt and I would never go for it. This is how it should look like:)

Personally I dont think its worth going for a gilt that is not good. To much money on a bad watch..
