Hi Friends! I'm at a complete loss when it comes to fitting a vintage watch with a metal bracelet. May I please rely on your collective expertise then?

In an earlier post, folks recommended that I get a 1037 beads/grains of rice bracelet. So, I found one but have no idea whether the end links are right for my watch.

The links are #555. My Connie comes in a 168.005 case. Are they a match?

No. Number 555 end links are 19 mm wide.

    Best regards

    As far as I know, 1503, 1037, 1068 and 8270 bracelets from Omega are fundamentally the same, and therefore I believe you want either Number 11, 12, 70, 523, 526, 556, 527, 570, 586, 620 or 654 end links. Happy hunting!

All this heartache over that Grains of Rice bracelet! In the end, I decided to order a new alligator leather one from Peter Watcacc (he advertises on Time Zone and is based here in Bangkok). I’ll post when I get it on the watch.

Meanwhile, what do with the steel bracelet. I think it will fit on a Constellation 168.018 I’m sending out for restoration. Not sure about the aesthetics on that but I gotta use that bracelet somewhere at this point!

I think a Beads of Rice bracelet will look just as handsome on a 018 as it would on a 005. Looking forward to seeing them all!
