Hi Rolex afficionados,

I'm looking for a 6538 dial for my 307xxx case and I found two on offer from chrono store Rolex. Anyone know or can tell if they're genuine? Or do we know about the store's credibility?

Sorry that I cannot be of any help on those dials, but can you post a link or the exact URL for the website so that I can look for a dial for a different watch as well? Thanks a lot.

He may be referring to chrono-shop.net. I've bought a number of parts from them over the years.

I think it will take more than trustworthiness to know exactly what dial you need for your particular 6538. You need a seller with very deep knowledge and experience. In your place, I'd be reaching out directly to some of the top experts in no crown guard Subs.

Just got a reply from Philip Stahl who only saw the advertised picture on Instagram and said they're all fake. No further explanation though..

Do we have experts here on the forum?

Apart from knowing the period correct dial for a particular case, do you know if they have been known to sell fake parts? Phillip Stahl claimed 'all fake' but didn't wanna look at pictures or talk to the seller who offered to speak with him. Very hard to judge to say the least ..

Anyone can sell fake parts, knowingly or unknowingly. I have seen Certified Pre-owned Rolex watches listed at Authorized Dealers with fake parts. The only way to know is to become an expert or get advice from an expert. You are in the deep end here and there are only a few people in the world I would trust to authenticate a dial like this.

I sent Perez the pics, maybe he'll reply. What's your favorite parts shop btw?

There are good sellers that you can find on IG or forums. I really don't want to be in the position of making recommendations, but with some research, you can probably identify them.
