Seen this up for sale ....appreciate your feedback on it, whats good, bad, original etc.

 

Are there no Ts around "SWISS MADE" ?

I saw it when visiting the shop. Nearly had a heart attack when I saw the price tag.

 

Heavily polished lugs.

 

Dial is poor imho with washed out lume and damaged minute track

Have you consulted MWO and or Speedmaster101? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

 

Normal, it must be a 63' T arrived in a second time on 105.003 in April 64.

 

If the serial number is 22 millions like it seems to be, it's not consistent with a no T dial.

 

The best component is the 506 end links. Hard to source

 

The words from a guy who obviously owns plenty of 105.003's. He's worried about the damn end links. Lolololololololo

 

The 506 end links indicate later Ed White (65 or 66) which coincides with the 2287xxxx serial. Might as well be on 1035/1501 bracelet which is rare. I think I see the "T"s under some scratches. However, the condition of the dial is a major concern here as I see damages on the minute tracks all over. A closer observation is highly recommended.

 

Everything's just kinda average about it. The case is overpolished and the dial looks somewhat washed out. It's just 'meh' to me at that price (or as 'meh' as a 60's Speedmaster can be!)

 

I doubt he's worried about it, he's more stating a fact if I were guessing.
