I wanted to note these pictures and the serial number of the movement for future reference because these bits in part or in whole will turn up somewhere, possibly in a watch purporting to be all original.

Serial number is 16648823 and is meant to be for a CK2915-2

Movement:

Difficult to like what they’ve done to the watch, but I appreciate the initiative of logging this for further reference 👍

Yea I was kind of expecting the serial to be blurred on this one, but I’m glad to have it indexed by google in case a watch pops up at an auction house with that serial, or with that dial or case/caseback.

looks like an overly hopeful example of the parts are greater than the whole....

Classic example of missmatching colours:

Yes that chronograph bridge looks like it it came from the bottom of a lake or something

Which leaves only the miniscule problem of the correct bezel......

And hands

As I said before, hands are available from a seller in Switzerland for "cheap" 15.000 Sfr a set.

Most expensive dial I have seen I think. I saw these listed on their IG page. Must be a reason they broke up the watch to sell as parts...

There are a lot of 2915s missing something, often bezels but also sometimes dials or correct cases (especially case backs for some reason). The opportunity to unfranken an expensive watch will make people pay whatever it takes.
