Thanks for that but unfortunately I’m still confused.
The pic seems to show the arrow on the crown showing it locking by turning it (which i can’t seem to do) but the diagram shows it locking by pushing the crown in?

You seem familiar... were you, by chance, in The Mighty Ducks?

The far right watch is a bit of an "imposter" - its fitted with a 7546 movement, Seikosis dial and hands - makes for a great grab and go 6105 :D

Fantastic watches. I think they were a unique turning point for Seiko.

Mine got it in the cheap days on eBay bought a beater that needed work for 300 bucks. The Cystal needed to be replaced the lume was shot. So had it service for 150 an aftermarket crystal off the bay sent it the Jack at IWW to relume it. about 600-700 in it. Miss the cheap days. And got it off an American seller the tropics can destroy a movement.

Here’s my Captain Willard. I got this watch as a gift from my Uncle, a hardcore, well-respected watch collector. Even though it’s in rough condition but it’s still running very accurately. I love this piece the most out of my whole collection, it has such a strong sentimental value.

1972 came a with original waffle strap but I wear US tire tread feels more substantial with Watch size. All orig no resuming. Regarding the crown lock jiggle it around a bit and the lock mechanism become obvious. Just turn it a little not screw down.
