I knew that it would come to the point one day where I must let a few favorite watch box queens go... Well that day has come... A yellow gold plated beauty, the watch is in excellent condition. This has to be one of the most beautiful and unique dial designs by Longines. The sunburst is near perfect; amazing condition for a 54 year-old! The 34.5mm case has no dings and no big scratches, although there are the requisite swirlies. Caseback has a few blemishes here and there. The gold-plating is also in very good condition, the bottom outside of both lower lugs can you see an edge where there may be some wear, and the crown-side lower edge of case a small spot (see last added pic). Please see all pictures for details; they are an important part of the description. I will be happy to provide any additional photos/angles as you may desire. The automatic caliber 350 movement keeps good time, and the signed crown winds and sets easily. Crystal is free of scratches and blemishes. The watch comes with the black strap seen in some of the pictures. I was not able to remove the brown strap with my tools (dang shoulder-less spring-bars!), so my watchmaker will be doing it for me. If you absolutely want this particular brown calf-strap, we can add or sub that in. $525 includes continental United States shipping and PayPal fees. I will consider other places, although it will be at additional cost; just send me a PM. All sales are final, unless it has been determined that the description was inaccurate. Thanks for looking!
@Livesimply11 : Don't think I took ANY of my Longines (~14) to the last GTG . I will next time I sure hope this will stay here with an ΩF buyer... Dennis and I would be grateful!
I just noticed that there is another difficult to see small area (view angle must be just right) where the gold appears tarnished/blemished. This is not even noticeable except by loop. Otherwise, looks excellent. You can see it along the bottom vertical edge of the case, just to the right of the crown: So maybe the case isn't 'perfect' Edited. At first, I thought this was an area of thin gold plating, but on closer inspection, it appears only to be tarnish and a few tiny dings along the case edge.
Hard to believe this one is still available. If not for one's self, it would make a beautiful Father's day gift.
Looks like dougiedude has struck a deal. Whoever is buying it, thank you. I couldn't have held out much longer.
Yes, a fine gentleman and OmegaForum member from my favorite kite-surfing destination/country is the new owner . Thanks, Aaron and OmegaForums.Net!
