A catch and release for me, I have a 60s Tissot Visodate with it's original Gay Freres Bracelet. Fresh from service in May 2018 after getting some attention with the seconds hand. Looking for $300USD including tracked and insured shipping from Australia. Size - Measures 33mm across, 36mm with crown and 39mm from lug to lug. 18 mm lug width. Cosmetic condition - New crystal. Stainless steel case was lightly polished and still retains edges and has light marks from use. The crown is a generic replacement. Drilled lugs for easy bracelet/strap removal. Dial appears original and looks clean to the eye. No quickset date feature, however time setting is easily done and date rolls over at midnight (or very close to it) crisply. The stainless steel caseback features a sun logo with the Tissot capital T in the middle, and has no major scratches or tool marks. Internal caseback is also clean and has a few service marks and inscriptions. View attachment 434822 The Gay Freres bracelet comes with matching endlinks for the watch and has scratches and marks from use. The clasp is of the micro-adjustor type. On the second tightest notch, it fits my 6.5" wrist quite comfortably. Movement - The Tissot 784 Automatic has 21 jewels and is clean and runs very well. The serial number 7162727 dates it a manufacturing date of 1965. Please see photos for further details, and don't hesitate to contact me for further details! I have feedback here on the forums as both a seller and a buyer. I have also bought and sold on the watchexchange reddit, and have positive seller feedback on eBay. https://omegaforums.net/threads/photovillage-is-a-great-buyer.46327/#post-550746 https://omegaforums.net/threads/guiltyboomerang-is-a-great-seller.48198/ https://www.reddit.com/r/WatchExchangeFeedback/comments/4mzuhm/guiltyboomerang_is_a_great_buyer/ https://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBa...eboyz&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller&searchInterval=30
This is still here, because..? These are easily comparable with late sixties/early seventies Omega Geneves and is rocking a bracelet made by Gay Freres - even unserviced this would be a great price. Anyone contemplating a 60's Omega for their first vintage watch would do themselves a huge favour by looking closer at this offer. A lot of older collectors could well be in for a surprise too!
Back for sale, with new photos post service and a price of $350USD including worldwide tracked and insured shipping.
