·Just last week in fact. My 80's Bulova self winder usually starts running the second I take it out of the box. This time it had stopped months ago at exactly the same time I pulled it out and it began running instantly. I didn't need to hand wind , just put it on and moved my wrist a bit. but I did need to set the date which doesn't require resetting the time..
