Yep!.... The real 'Moon Watch' with a real vintage 321 movement ticking sweetly inside. I'm listening to mine now.
It seems that we both like a bit of 'chocolate on our biscuit' mate!

Don't bother as my interest has long since evaporated... the 25th Apollo 11 anniversary no frills Speedmaster with display caseback that was a watch !

 

Great job. This one looks best, especially the matching lume. Maybe add gilt writing like to balance things out:



and a vintage style applied logo in gold.

Looks very nice, but I don't really see the draw over a standard Moonwatch or even a pre-moon one... There has to be something else to justify the price point. Then again, in hindsight and with the current trend in pricing, the Silver Snoopy's MSRP with its engraved and enamelled medallion seems laughably cheap at CHF 6,600. So maybe that's just the direction Omega is moving.

 

What ever happened to the 321 being re-released with the 50th anniversary addition?

 

From what I've heard from Omega on Jan 8th when they announced the 321 re issue, the 321 with not host the 50th anniversary speedy.

New 321 will host future speedies with precious metal cases (gold, platinium, etc...)

 

Has to have a moonshine gold applied logo, surely?

And the wording on the caseback would be along the lines of “One small step for a man, etc., etc.”

 

So what movement do you want on it? Even if it gets the new 321 it would be a reissue, new movement. Or you just don’t like new movements. To me vintage watch is an old time piece with a movement that have live, travel, it has some kind of story maybe I know it or maybe not but is fun to guess.
