I was just given this Seamaster Professional 007 50th anniversary. Everything looks legit, I had it inspected and nothing 'looks wrong' however I cant come to grips with the serial number being 00001/11007. In the cold the other morning I broke of the hour marker at the bezel top. Does anyone know where I can order this piece? I am not near an Omega dealer so it would be nice to just order the replacement part and have our local jeweler reapply...

Any hints, tips, thoughts or otherwise would be appreciated. I love this watch.

That hour marker on the top of the bezel is what we refer to as a 'lume pip'.

Is the person who gave you this in the habit of gifting things costing several thousand dollars?

Yes she is in the habit of gifting things of high value, she has a great capacity to shop and loves luxury, I hope her eye is as good as her wallet.

Straight away I looked at the crappy quality crown, there's heaps of other things but that's the easiest, compare the straight edge on that crown to the detail and taper on a real Seamaster crown.

The Crown Guards are not well shaped as well. The series number is typical of fakes of these.
