Are deep engravings genuine as compared to the more commonly seen thin engravings?

 

All the rest looks strictly identical on this picture, the deep engraving doesn't disturb me more than that, personally.

Maybe the factory of the end links 506 was in Italy

 

I can tell you I have seen A LOT of Italians hunting
for vintage Speedmaster parts in watch fairs in Switzerland. Always a lot of fun when they try to negotiate in (bad) English which is quickly getting very expressive

 

I'm one of the hunters but I've never been in a fair outside Italy. My last find here in Italy was a 105.012-63 like new with the original guarantee. I think it rewards.
