Being from the uk im guessing this is a national holiday like we have bank holidays in england. What does it signify?

Yup its just been on the radio today what independance day was all about. You ungrateful yobs spurned the milk of englands kindness and wanted to be independant! Well look where thats got you. Tell me one good thing to come out of america since you booted us out?

My God, we gave the world the hot dog! I'd forgotten that. Forget the moon. You'd all still be eating greasy little bangers without a roll if it weren't for that genius from Coney Island.

 

Up until now ive had rubbish boasts but we are getting somewhere now. Hot dogs! Heres a few of my own now im thinking. Breaking bad, my wifes kitchen aid mixer and snap on tools. All well and good but the uk gives you the real stuff like buccaneers and concentration camps. Germany wouldnt have stood a chance if they invaded england. Weve got the scottish. Even the romans built a wall to keep them out of england.

 

And the Scots gave us Scotch and 007....not a bad accomplishment
