40's Certina Chrono - Any information?

    I came across this piece and really like it. But I can't find anything like it.. It's from around 1940's and the owner states it has a Venus 178 but that can't be correct since the 178 is a 3 sub dial movement. The look of the dial makes me think it has a Excelsior Park movement. Do you guys have any suggestions? :)

    Your's may well house an EP4-movement, even if I can't say that for sure either.....

    Nice watches both of them anyhow! Certina did make some collectible models. These are two of them IMO

    I certainly agree it looks like a Certina-branded Ex Park - dial, case, pusher spacing, handset all suggest Ex Park.

    You are correct , I bought the watch and its a Excelsior Park cal4 movement.
