Hi guys. The 3rd watch is listed for sale by me in the private forum. I do not know the full history on this 65 year old watch but i just had a complete $3000 service at Patek in Switzerland on this watch. I can see that the font does not look as good as the others. Would I be correct to assume that the dial was refinished in the past? I am fairly confident there is zero chance the dial is fake as it just spend 6 months in Switzerland and I can't see how Patek would not notice a fake dial...
It is my belief that the 3rd example has been refinished. The dial and all of its indices could be original to the watch but the printing does not seem period correct.
