    Hello

I was wondering if there is some other 4 hands (without subregister hands) Chrono than the longines somatore and the mido multicenter?
    Any other brands or ref?
another question, when were split second Chrono introduced? Except some high end brand like PP, is there any chance to fine a vintage split seconde Chrono ?
    Thanks for your help

The Seiko's 6138/6139 only have 4 hands, but I'm not sure that it's what you are looking for :)
In the same way, some companies made rattrapante chronographs like Dubey & Schaldenbrand index mobile, which are not the highest end of the breed but are an affordable way to get a very high end comolication

Do you mean that you are seeking chronos with all of the hands on the central pinion?

I think you’re confusing center minute chrono examples with split seconds.

    Sorry, reread the first post.
Seems like you’re looking for a few different 4-6 hand chronos.

Mido had a patent on the multichrono mechanism, so I don't think you'll find others like it. Gallet and Zenith had a 'multichron' navigator with four hands on a central pinion, but one of the hands was a short red 24-hour hand. Not sure if this meets your criteria:

According to Mies and Lang in Chronograph Wristwatches: To Stop Time, the two-hand split second chronofirst appeared in pocket watches around 1831. The mechanism appeared in wristwatches around 1912. The one-hand single split second 'Bovet' system arrived in 1936, and the Dubey two-hand single split second method was patented in 1948. Several marques besides PP made split second chronos, including Universal, Juvenia, Breitling, Minerva, AP, Hugex, Lowenthal, Butex, Recta and of course Bovet and Dubey had their versions. Examples are shown in the above reference.
