39mm Planet Ocean Weight: Too Heavy for Arthritic Wrists?

Pulling the trigger on a new PO in 39mm but having last minute concerns about the weight. I have bad arthritis at the base of my thumb joint and worried that the watch on bracelet will be too tough for me for long periods of wear, (not interested in rubber). I've tried it on and it's heavy but manageable for a few minutes at the boutique. Anyone experience issues wearing one all day?

The arthritis you mention, which is typically the CMC joint, and above where many typically wear their watches, should not be significantly affected by a watch on a bracelet. Ensure that it is fitted so that it does not slide down to that area, and stays behind that bump on the wrist, the ulnar styloid.

I have issues with weight on my wrist, neck referred pain to my arms, I had to switch to lightweight watches. Luckily I love vintage dress watches, including a 1966 Seamaster I picked up here from @Dan S.

Personally I think if you’re having doubts I’d hold off. I think most modern watches are uncomfortable and heavy. Hence why I’ve never bought a PO despite thinking they look fantastic
