Moving some pieces around, so this rare oversized Longines has to go! Case: 37mm 3 piece coin edge stainless steel in very good condition with what may be factory finish. Lugs are 18mm with fixed welded lugbars. Caseback is clearly marked. Dial: Original condition with paint loss and patina as pictured. Movement: 23m in good condition, but running fast. The regulator has some damage as pictured and I have a NOS one included as well a mainspring. Hands/Crown/Crystal: Hands are original blued steel. Crown and acrylic crystal are replacements. Here is the write up from Longines: The original serial number 6'401'458 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 4734. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 23.M and was invoiced on 23 December 1942 to the company Ostersetzer, which was at that time our agent for Italy. Overall a nice original example with a great wrist presence. Why buy a Nomos when you can have the original! Asking $1750 Shipped in the CONUS with wire. PM or email watchknut at gmail.com.
