Just caught a thread on chronocentric where a 'holy grail' just sold for €8000... well, was for sale at that price and sold quickly.

Nice conditition, and full kit included, but wow.

    gotta be careful with these.
I'd say 35% have parts that don't match original
from trips to Omega for service. Dials, hands, etc.
were replaced with non-matching by Omega at
service bc they didn't have any more original config
    dial, hands, etc

For example, this is not a 376.0822 dial though the seller claimed it was.... close, but no cigar.

And the service hands that I've seen on some are just ugly. Throw off the whole look of the watch.

The part number on the package is listed as a dial for both the 055ST3760822, and the 055ST1760012. So technically it is a correct modern replacement dial for that reference according to Omega.

    Cheers, Al

main problem is the dial, if its changed the watch just looks curios. On the other side the Quality of the original dials is not really good.
A lot of them are loosing their luminos. Some time ago on ebay 1 or 2 NOS dial's are sold.

But anyway the 376.0822 is one the of my vavorites

here's mine... pre-service. agree about the dials - lots of lume missing on mine, but a replacement (original) with fewer missing indices is going on as part of the service. crystal is a little scratched, day wheel is not alligned properly. didn't come with box and papers, but was comparatively lower priced as a result, and i wanted one i could wear on a regular basis. but it's got the original 1450 with 809 end links (and I have a pair of 808s for daily use).

Here's what that that dial looks like in a 376.0822.
Notice the gap between the dial markings and the chapter ring. Also, there should be a "10" next to the index at 2 o'clock.
And a lume dot next to the date window. Speedmater fonts are off, look at "S".
    And some other things.....
